Everything Included. Nothing Left to You.

Our Marketplace Operator service is end-to-end. We own the seller accounts, absorb the compliance (VAT, GPSR, EPR, DAC7), and run the day-to-day — listings, ads, customer service, returns, fulfilment.

Your brand, our infrastructure

Products listed under your brand name. Seller entity, accounts, and compliance handled by O1, and you log into the O1 Suite (our own software) to see sales, orders, returns and POs across every marketplace in one place.

100+ marketplaces, one team

Amazon, Bol.com, Zalando, OTTO, Kaufland, Allegro: all managed by a single dedicated account team.

Zero account suspension risk

We hold the accounts. Violations, appeals, and performance management are our responsibility.

How we actually operate

Four loops, run on top of every active account.

  1. 1

    Account ownership

Seller accounts, VAT registrations and compliance filings sit in our entity. Suspensions, appeals and account-health interventions are ours to resolve.

  2. 2

    Daily ops

Listings, stock signal, returns and disputes touched every day by the operator team. Buy-box, suppressed listings and account-health flags resolved within hours.

  3. 3

    Weekly cadence

30-minute brand review: ad spend pacing, search-term trends, content updates, marketplace policy changes that affect your category.

  4. 4

    Monthly review

Full P&L by marketplace, contribution margin vs target, competitive intelligence and a written plan for the next month — delivered as a Suite report, not a slide deck.

Operator vs agency

The six things that aren't the same.

Marketplace agencies optimise listings and ads on accounts that you own and you carry the risk of. We own the accounts and carry the risk.

Common Questions

What does a Marketplace Operator do?

A Marketplace Operator manages your entire presence on EU marketplaces, from product listings and advertising to logistics, customer service, account health, and compliance. Operator One goes further by also acting as your Merchant of Record, absorbing all fiscal and legal liability.

Who runs PPC and advertising under the Operator service?

Our in-house PPC team runs Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display and DSP on Amazon plus self-serve advertising on Bol.com, Cdiscount and other ad-enabled marketplaces. Bids, budgets and creative are managed weekly and reported back through the O1 Suite.

Who handles returns and customer service?

We do. Returns flow into our two own EU fulfilment centres (DE + NL) and the marketplaces' own returns programmes, with basic refurbishment and automatic re-listing of resaleable units. A multilingual team handles consumer tickets on an SLA-aware queue per marketplace.

Do I keep my brand identity on the marketplace?

Yes. Your products are listed under your brand name, with your brand assets, A+ content, and Brand Registry protections. Operator One operates as the backend seller entity while your brand is front and centre for consumers.

Who owns the marketplace accounts, us or you?

We do. Because Operator One is the Merchant of Record, the seller accounts on Amazon, Bol.com, Zalando and the rest sit under our entity. Account-health risk, suspensions and appeals are ours to manage, not yours.

Which marketplaces are included?

Our Marketplace Operator service covers all major EU and UK platforms: Amazon (all EU locales + UK), Bol.com, OTTO, Zalando, Cdiscount, Allegro, Kaufland, ManoMano, and 90+ additional marketplaces based on category fit.

What reporting do I get?

You log into the O1 Suite at app.o1.eu to see sales, orders, returns, buy-box status and ad performance across every connected marketplace. Scheduled reports go out weekly/monthly, and a REST API plus webhooks are available for ERP or BI sync.
